BUILD HOPE OUTREACH

Serving every community across Southeastern North Carolina...

The Salvation Army of Cape Fear has purchased property off Martin Luther King Parkway (1220 N. 30th Street) to build a new Center of Hope and Corps Community Center.  The 25-acre complex in Wilmington will allow us to better serve our community and will be the center of our outreach to the five counties we assist: Bladen, Brunswick, Columbus, New Hanover & Pender.

CENTER OF HOPE

The Center of Hope will hold the Army’s social services and boarding areas. Officials say the new building will offer better living conditions for shelter residents and guests, including spaces for families and dedicated housing for those with special needs. It will also offer extra space for the Army’s life skills training program.

Therapy Session
COMMUNITY CENTER

Our new Corps Community Center will provide improved access to vital services from all directions and close by to the Creekwood and Maides Park communities and to Glow Academy’s future campus.

Business Meeting
ADVISORY BOARD

The Advisory Board provides valuable assistance and advice that helps us advance and continue the operations of The Salvation Army. Local community leaders volunteer their efforts to help the Army in maintaining good business and professional relations.
