Food Lion Feeds Charitable Foundation and The Salvation Army of Cape Fear Partner to Fight Food Insecurity

Wilmington, NC — Food Lion Feeds Charitable Foundation and The Salvation Army of Cape Fear are teaming up to help address food insecurity and expand access to nutritious food for families in need across the Cape Fear region.
Through its Nourishing Our Neighbors program, Food Lion Feeds Charitable Foundation has awarded a $3,000 grant to The Salvation Army of Cape Fear. This funding will directly support local families experiencing hunger by providing access to essential, nutritious food resources.
“We are grateful for the continued support of Food Lion Feeds Charitable Foundation,” said Marty Feurer, Corps Director of Development. “This partnership helps us meet immediate needs while offering hope and stability to families facing food insecurity in our community.”
